Meet shortly before 8:00 am at the entrance to Mill Creek Marsh, 3 Mill Creek Drive, Secaucus.
The Christmas Bird Count, the longest-running citizen science project in the world, celebrates its 125th anniversary this year. Join us to walk in the footsteps of the CBC's founder, the New Jersey native Frank Michler Chapman, as we count all the birds in our assigned sector of this year's Lower Hudson count. Dress for the weather, and bring a warm drink and a notebook and pencil. We plan to be done with our tally by 9:30 am.
